It is a welding method using a mixture of a small amount of oxidizing gas (CO2, O2, or other mixed gases) added to argon gas as the shielding gas for welding.
Advantages:
① The temperature of the weld pool and droplet is higher than that of pure argon arc welding, and the current density is larger, consequently resulting in a greater depth of fusion, thicker weld seam, faster melting speed of the welding wire, higher deposition efficiency, and improved welding productivity.
② CO2 gas is relatively inexpensive, which reduces the welding cost.
Metal Active Gas Welding with consumable electrode is a welding method using a mixture of a small amount of oxidizing gas (CO2, O2, or other mixed gases) added to argon gas as the shielding gas for welding.

Plasma arc welding is a fusion welding method that uses a high-energy density beam of plasma arc as the heat source. After welding, the main weld seam undergoes 100% X-ray inspection, with a minimum quality grade not lower than AB, and the qualified level of the weld seam is Grade II. The first-pass RT (radiographic testing) inspection pass rate for the weld seam is 100%.
Argon arc welding is a gas tungsten arc welding method that uses the inert gas argon as the shielding gas.
Advantages:
① High weld seam quality. Since argon gas is an inert gas and does not react chemically with metals, alloying elements will not be burned off. Argon gas also does not melt with metals, so the welding process is basically a process of metal melting and solidification. Therefore, good protection can be achieved, resulting in purer and higher-quality weld seams.
② Low welding deformation stress. Due to the compression and cooling effect of the argon gas flow on the arc, the arc heat is concentrated and the temperature of the argon arc is high. As a result, the heat-affected zone is small, resulting in low stress and deformation during welding. It is particularly suitable for thin-walled component welding and pipe root welding.
③ Wide welding range, suitable for welding almost all types of metal materials, especially suitable for welding chemically active metals and alloys.
